Capo Bay is in a prime Cyprus location. It is situated right on the beach but is in the centre of Protaras within a short walking distance from shops, banks and traditional Cypriot tavernas. Located on the famous Fig Tree Bay you will experience a beautiful sandy beach and crystal clear waters – a blue flag awarded beach.
Protaras is a one hour drive from Larnaca International Airport and a five minute drive from Paralimni and Ayia Napa – 8kms from both in each direction. Protaras as a Cyprus location has many splendid sites of its own. You have the famous Ayios Elias Church, which is situated at the top of a high hill overlooking the resort. You can also easily go for walks in the picturesque National Park of Cape Greco, with its famous sea caves.
You may chose instead to visit Paralimni or Derynia which give you views of the famous ghost town of Famagusta. Or visit the rest of the red villages famous for the rich red soil. Lipotri village has a beautiful fishing harbour and Sotira village has traditional houses and churches.
If Ayia Napa is more enticing, then there is more to it than the night life. Visit the ancient Monastery set in the centre or go for romantic walks along the old harbour. You can visit all of Cyprus from Protaras, with Capo Bay as your base camp.
